R.L. Stine's New GOOSEBUMPS Series Trailer Coming To Disney+ and Hulu

Disney+ has recently unveiled the initial trailer for its highly anticipated adaptation of R.L. Stine’s beloved Goosebumps series, sending waves of nostalgia through those of us who grew up in the ’90s relishing the spine-tingling tales. This fresh take on the eerie and entertaining narratives appears poised to offer a thrilling experience. It promises to immerse audiences in a world of mystery, suspense, and delightful scares, catering to the dedicated fanbase while potentially outshining the previous Goosebumps movie adaptation.

The new Goosebumps series introduces us to a group of five high school students who embark on a chilling and enigmatic journey. Their mission: to unravel the mysteries surrounding the tragic demise of a teenager named Harold Biddle that transpired three decades prior. Simultaneously, they unearth dark and long-buried secrets from their parents’ pasts, creating a web of intrigue that’s impossible to resist.

The ensemble cast includes notable names such as Justin Long (known for his role in Barbarian), Rachael Harris (familiar to fans of Lucifer), Zack Morris (from EastEnders), Isa Briones (Star Trek: Picard), Miles McKenna (a face you might recognize from Guilty Party), Ana Yi Puig (a presence from Gossip Girl), and Will Price (who’s made appearances in The Equalizer).

Ayo Davis, the President of Disney Branded Television, expressed their enthusiasm in a statement, saying, “R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps franchise is a pop culture phenomenon that holds a special place in the hearts of people of all ages. We are delighted to bring this spooky new series to audiences everywhere in a big way on Disney+ and Hulu, which we hope will not only captivate new audiences with its elevated thrills and chills but also resonate with lifelong fans, nostalgic for the stories that are a staple of their generation.”

The 10-episode series draws inspiration from various iconic Goosebumps books, including “Say Cheese and Die!,” “The Haunted Mask,” “The Cuckoo Clock of Doom,” “Go Eat Worms!,” and “Night of the Living Dummy.”

For those eager to dive into the eerie fun, the first five episodes will be available as part of Disney+’s “Hallowstream” and Hulu’s “Huluween” celebrations. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly. Additionally, the series’ first two episodes will premiere on Freeform as part of its “31 Nights of Halloween” programming on October 13th.

Mark your calendars because Goosebumps is set to premiere on various platforms on Friday, October 13th, promising a nostalgic and spine-chilling journey for fans old and new alike.
