Upside-Down Jeans Are Here To Remind You About Fashion

If you put an absolutely good pair of jeans down, flipped it, and turned it, you’d have fashion’s most modern weird denim contribution.

CIE Denim – Nancy

CIE Denim, a New York City-based retailer, is marketing upside-down shorts and pants that are essentially normal old jeans inverted — with the waistband, belt rings, and pockets where the cuffs should be, this looks insane and if these came in black color they will definitely look like gothic-clothing.

Each pair of jeans is named after a character from Netflix’s “Stranger Things” — there’s a Will, a Nancy, a Mike, an El and a Lucas — and the general idea seems to be a yes to the show’s Demogorgon-filled upside down universe, the Upside Down.

The shorts and pants will cost you around $385 and $495 respectively — and if that price makes you wanna jump, jump out of your seat, that completely makes sense. Many people online feel the denim is more suggestive of the ’90s hip-hop duo Kris Kross, who were recognized for their backward clothes.
